As of July 2017, plaques will only be placed with purchase of a memorial bench. Once placed, the City will not be responsible for replacement of any damaged or stolen benches or plaques. To preserve the integrity of our parks, we ask that you refrain from decorating brick pavers and benches. The Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to remove and discard any decorations that are placed. For additional information about the memorial policy or purchasing, please call the Parks and Recreation Department at 309-524-2424.
Swim Lesson Rescheduling Policy
Lessons will not be rescheduled for personal reasons. If the lesson was canceled due to weather or an unforeseen closure of the pool, the lesson director will try to coordinate a make-up lesson. This does not guarantee that the make-up lesson will be at the same time, day of the week or instructor as the originally scheduled lesson.
