Michael P. Waldron
Michael Waldron has lived in Moline for over forty years. Alderman Waldron was appointed to the City Council on July 12, 2016, and his current term will expire in May of 2023.
Supports
Alderman Waldron supports providing quality customer service to residents, businesses and visitors and having quality of life amenities for those people to enjoy and utilize. He supports working closely with the Moline/Coal Valley School District, local businesses and community groups to make Moline the most desirable place to live in the Quad Cities.
Involvement
Alderman Waldron was a thirty seven year employee of the City of Moline, finishing his career with the City as the Director of Public Works. He is a life long member of the Moline School District PTA and past President of Moline Dads Club. Alderman Waldron has served on numerous committees and groups supporting City of Moline goals and objectives.
Education & Employment
Alderman Waldron is a graduate of Black Hawk College with a degree in Law Enforcement. He is a United States Air Force Veteran and is currently retired.
Family & Free Time
In his free time, he and his wife, JoAnn, love visiting National Parks, fishing, hiking, and spending time with friends. He has one daughter, Erin, and he loves spending time with his beautiful granddaughters, Kaeleen & Rowan.
