[ARCHIVED] Pearl Jam Concert at the iWireless – Friday, October 17th

Internationally renowned band Pearl Jam will be performing to a sold out crowd of over 10,000 fans on Friday, October 17, 2014. The large number of hotel reservations suggest that this concert is drawing many out of town attendees so fans are encouraged to carpool and arrive very early in order to avoid traffic delays from construction, particularly people coming from the Iowa side. iWireless Center doors will open at 6:00 pm and there is no opening act. Pearl Jam is scheduled to take the stage at 7:30 pm so it is imperative to get to the iWireless Center in plenty of time to get concessions and concert memorabilia. Long lines are expected and attendees are reminded that no audio or video recording is allowed and no tablets or iPads. Only non-professional cameras without detachable lenses will be permitted.

Please be reminded that both the on and off ramps for River Drive/3rd Avenue are closed and River Drive between 19th and 23rd Streets is closed. Alternate I-74 exits are 7th Avenue and Avenue of the Cities.

Downtown Moline Centre is home to over 30 bars/restaurants so concert-goers are sure to find a great way to pass the time before the concert. A link to the downloadable parking map is below and shows that there is ample free parking within a 10 minute walk of the iWireless Center and various paid private lots but be sure to allow for extra travel time. The iWireless will open its parking lot at 8:00 am on Friday and the cost to park is $10.00.
