Habitat for Humanity Quad Cities (HFHQC) is excited to announce a new program that will focus on revitalizing neighborhoods across the Quad Cities. HFHQC has joined a growing number of affiliates across the country in adopting a new Neighborhood Revitalization initiative. This new program will allow the Quad Cities affiliate to serve more families by responding to community needs with additional resources, services and partnerships.
To kick-off this new program, a “Rock the Block Floreciente” work day has been scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2015, in the neighborhood. In addition to breaking ground on a new Habitat home, volunteers will work with residents on minor home repairs and yard clean-up projects.
