On Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at 4:00 p.m., the Moline City Clerk and  Local Election Official will conduct a lottery to determine ballot position for all candidates who filed nominating papers at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 21, 2016, the first day of the petition filing for the Consolidated Primary Election to be held on February 28, 2017, or if by operation of law, no primary election is required, for election to said office at the Consolidated Election to be held on April 4, 2017.

The lottery will take place at 4:00 p.m. in Council Chambers of City Hall, located at 619 16th Street, Moline, IL.

The 8:00 a.m. simultaneous first-day filers that are qualified for the lottery to determine top ballot position are as follows:  Stephanie Acri and Scott Raes for Mayor; Angie Normoyle and Carol Triebel for Alderman At Large.  All other ballot positions are determined by order of filing.

Candidates need not be present at the lottery.  Candidates will be listed by ballot position on the City of Moline website by 6:00 p.m. on December 6, 2016.  Lottery procedures for the simultaneous filing of candidates can be found on the City of Moline website.
