Music/Amplified Sound Request

Would you like music or amplified sound at your neighborhood block party, special event (festival, parade, race) or festivity/activity on private property? If so, it is recommended that you obtain consent and approval of the City Council.

Submit your request in writing to the City Clerk’s Office no later than 14 days prior to the activity, or your request may be submitted in conjunction with the Special Event or Neighborhood Block Party Application.

Private Property Gatherings

Please note that activities on private property desiring amplified sound or music may want to consider the consent and approval of the City Council. This request must also be submitted to the City Clerk’s office no later than 14 days prior to the activity.
