Alarm Permits

All home and business owners must apply for and receive an alarm system permit before use or possession.  There is a one-time fee of $50.00 for the alarm permit. When the City of Moline responds to a police false alarm, the charge will be $60.00 each.  For fire false alarms, the first two are free and all alarms thereafter are $175.

Animal License/ Pet Tag

All pet owners living in the City of Moline are required to obtain an annual pet tag for their dogs and cats.  Tags may be purchased from the Rock Island County Animal Shelter, located at 4001 - 78th Avenue, Moline. Phone: 309-558-3483.   Pet owners must have a copy of a current Rabies vaccination certificate to purchase a tag.  

Bond Rating

The City maintains an Aa2 General Obligation Bond Rating established by Moody’s Investor Service.

Free leak detection kits are available at no charge to residents by calling (309) 524-2070 or by visiting the Customer Service Office at 1630 - 8th Avenue, Moline.
 

Parking Lots Available  for Lease

For inquiries about parking options, contact Customer Service at 1630 - 8^th Avenue, Moline or call (309) 524-2070.   Lease spaces are available for convenient downtown locations.

Current Parking Rates

$30 per month - all open air lots & 4th floor of Midtowne Parking Facility, 1601 - 6th Ave.
$40 per month - 2nd and 3rd floor of Midtowne
$55 per month - reserved space, 2nd and 3rd floor of Midtowne
$3 All Day Parking Permit (allows for parking in any two hour space in excess of posted time limits)
$30 per month - Resident Parking Permit
$80 per month - Rover Parking Permit (allows for parking in any one or two hour space in excess of posted time limits)
$5 replacement cost for parking tag

 Parking Tickets

Pay your Moline parking ticket online via the city's website using most major credit cards and bank debit cards. Our secure service accepts payment of current and/or outstanding parking tickets issued by the City of Moline.  Once payments are processed, records at the City of Moline will be updated accordingly.

You may also inquire about status and payment information at the Customer Service Office at 1630 -  8^th Avenue, Moline (309) 524-2070.   To protest a ticket, complete the Parking Violation Protest form.

Yard Waste Stickers

Purchase stickers at our Customer Service Office at 1630 - 8th Avenue, Moline (309) 524-2070.  Stickers are $2.00 each and must be affixed to the yard waste bags purchased separately at local hardware, grocery, or home improvement stores.
