The City submits an annual report to the State of Illinois regarding unclaimed property. The Illinois Uniform Disposition of Unclaimed Property Act requires that all intangible personal property (uncashed refund checks, payroll checks, water/sewer deposits, vendor checks) being held for 7 years be presumed abandoned. Staff makes every effort to locate these individuals. If you have any information about the following individuals, please call Randi Haley at 309-524-2085. If we can verify the person is entitled to the property, the funds can be returned to the owner rather than to the State.
