CERT – is a grass roots partnering effort as a way of preparing the community for hazards and meeting immediate life saving needs following a major disaster.
Neighbors are trained to help neighbors. Training is designed to cover the following: Disaster Preparedness, Fire Safety, First Aid, Light Search and Rescue, Team Organization, Disaster Psychology and Terrorism.  For more information about
