Adopt-A-Park

The Adopt-A-Park Program was designed to improve and enhance Moline parks through community involvement and citizen partnerships. By participating, neighborhood organizations, civic and church groups, scout troops, businesses, schools, families and individuals can take an active role in beautification of our community and help support Moline’s park system.

Planting flowers, weeding, and clean up / fix-up days are just some of the activities that volunteer groups can do. Volunteer groups will have a say in identifying the needs and developing plans for their adopted park.

Adopting groups work in conjunction with the Moline Park Department in operating, maintaining, and improving their adopted park. Groups will be recognized with a sign placed at their respective adopted park.

The Adopt-A-Park program will not be used in place of the Park Department’s regular maintenance of the parks. The program is designed to increase citizen awareness and pride in Moline’s invaluable parks.

For more information, or to discuss adopting a park, please call the Park Office at (309) 736-5712 or visit us at 3635 - Fourth Avenue, Moline.
