The Moline Park and Recreation Department is proud  to announce the addition of a second Military Commemorative Stone to Browning Park in honor of the servicemen and women who have served or are currently serving our country.  The inscribed black granite monument will sit amongst the current commemorative stone in a lush and colorful landscape area within the flag plaza.  The 1st Stone was dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2008, and  280 names were inscribed on the stone. The final set of inscriptions (inscription space is now sold-out) have been added.  The Second Stone will be installed on Veterans Day 2010.  If you would like to purchase a spot on the second stone, please click on the link below.
