Greenvalley Dog Park
Moline is
going to the dogs! Greenvalley Dog Park provides
two-acres of fenced, safe space for dogs to run and play
off leash. Amenities include dispensers and bags
for waste removal, a dog drinking fountain, faux fire
hydrants, public restrooms, benches, trash cans and
fencing (5' high).
Greenvalley Dog Park opened
in September 2008, and is located on 50th Avenue across
from Greenvalley Sports Complex. The park is open daily
from dawn to dusk.
To ensure that a safe and
positive environment is maintained at the dog park, the
following regulations have been enacted:
Greenvalley Dog Park Rules:
Park is open dawn until dusk daily.
Unauthorized or unconventional uses are prohibited.
All Dogs
Must:

Be in view and under the control of their handlers
at all times.

Wear collars with current vaccination tags and the
appropriate licenses attached.

Be vaccinated for Rabies, for Distemper/Parvo and
Bordetella.

Be leashed when outside of Dog Park.

Be off leash when inside Dog Park.
-
Not be left alone in the Dog Park.
All Handlers
Must:
-
Be at least 16 years of age.

Not have more than two dogs in the park at one time.

Children under 16 years of age must be supervised by
an adult.

Pickup and dispose of dog waste.

Be responsible for the actions and behavior of their
dogs at all times.
The following
items are prohibited in the Dog Park:

Puppies under 5 months ▪
Bicycles, skates, rollerblades

Smoking
▪ Children under 4’ tall
-
Female Dogs in Heat ▪
Children’s toys
-
Pronged or spiked collars ▪
Strollers, baby carriages

Food (dog and human) ▪
Aggressive behavior
Rock Island County Dog licenses are available at the
Rock Island County Animal Shelter,
4001 78th Avenue, Moline.
The Dog Park is unsupervised and the City cannot control
the behavior of any one animal at any one time.
