Moline Garden Center
The Moline Garden Center
is an indoor facility which may be rented for meetings,
family reunions, baby showers, bridal showers, etc.
The Garden Center will accommodate up to 60 people.
In addition to the meeting room, there is a small
kitchen area containing a stove, microwave, refrigerator
and coffee pot for patron use.
The Garden Center may be
reserved between the hours of 10:00AM and 4:00PM or
6:00PM and 11:00PM. The rental fee is $25.00 per hour
(minimum fee is $75.00). Set up or clean up time
needed must be included in the rental time specified. A
$100.00 damage deposit is required for all rentals.
Holidays: The
Garden Center is available for one rental per day on the
following holidays: New Year's Day, President's
Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Fourth of
July, Labor Day, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day
after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and
New Year's Eve.
Reservations can be made
by calling
309-524-2424 (credit card required for phone
reservations). Reservations may also be made in
person at the Park Office, 3635 4th Avenue, Moline. (Reservations
for this facility may not be made online.)
Reservation fees are non-refundable and
non-transferable.
Riverside
Greenhouse
 Adjacent to the Moline
Garden Center is the Riverside Greenhouse. Erected
in 2007, the greenhouse has been designed to offer
year-round activities and gardening opportunities.
The greenhouse and the gardens surrounding it have been
adopted by the Friends of Riverside Park Gardens. The
Friends of Riverside offer plant sales, classes and
opportunities for those who love gardening. More
