Subdivisions

A subdivision is the division of one parcel of land into two or more parcels to allow for development. The Subdivision Code ensures land subdivision is done accurately and that the design and construction of streets, water systems, sewer systems and other improvements are cost-effective and benefit the public. There are two types of subdivision allowed in Moline, minor subdivision and major subdivision. A minor subdivision involves five or fewer lots of record created. For more information, contact the Planning Department at (309) 524-2050 or email schrist@moline.il.us.
