As Chief of Police I would like to welcome you to the Moline Police Department’s website. I encourage you to look around the site to learn more about one of the Quad Cities’ leading law enforcement agencies. We continually update the site, so check back frequently to see what is going on with the department.

This website is designed to give you an overview of the divisions within the department and information regarding some of the programs we are involved in. It also provides information for reporting crimes or violations. If you are interested in knowing more about what officers must learn in order to perform their job effectively, check out the Citizen Police Academy link on the Patrol Division page. Maybe you would like to enroll in the next course.

You may also be interested in the department’s My Space page. The site also provides information about the department and links to other police related sites. Another site I can recommend is Crime Stoppers of the Quad CitiesCrime Stoppers is an integral component of our efforts to fight crime, and the program website can provide you with information on how you can get involved.

Providing service to the community is a commitment we take seriously. If you have any comments or concerns, please let us know.

Sincerely,

Kim Hankins
Chief of Police
