COP West Office

Two police officers work out of the police satellite office located on the corner of 4th Street and 4th Avenue in the Floreciente District of Moline. Officers patrol the area on bicycles, in a squad car and on foot. Their work hours are adjusted to suit the neighborhood’s needs.

The Floreciente District is one of Moline’s oldest neighborhoods. The police and the neighborhood work together to suppress crime, reduce fear, protect property, and improve the quality of life. To promote a better quality of life, COP West officers have sponsored and/or aided with crime prevention seminars, food and clothing distribution, neighborhood cleanup days, anti-truancy programs, bicycle safety education rodeos, an anti-gang strategy, ongoing eradication of street gang graffiti, and numerous other community oriented initiatives.

COP West officers are very involved with Ericsson Elementary School, the Boys & Girl Club and the Viva Quad Cities Festival.
