Obtaining Police Reports

 

Investigative Reports:

 

  • Public Face Sheet: Victims or parents of juvenile victims can obtain a copy of the Public Face Sheet of their report at no charge.  Victims can either pick up the copy in person (with proper identification) or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Moline Police Department, 1630-8th Avenue, Moline, IL 61265.

 

  • Redacted Report:  Individuals can obtain a redacted (edited) copy of police reports by filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for a minimum fee. 

 

  • Complete Report:  Complete police reports can be obtained by a court-ordered subpoena for a minimum fee. 

 

Accident Reports:  Those involved in a vehicular crash can obtain a copy of their Crash Report at no charge.

 

Hours:  The following are hours to obtain copies of police reports.

  • Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
