Police Reports
Obtaining Police Reports / Investigative Reports
Hours
The following are hours to obtain copies of police report:
Monday - Friday
7:30 am - 7:00 pm

Public Face Sheet
Victims, or the parents of juvenile victims, may obtain a copy of the public face sheet of their report at no charge. A public face sheet contains very limited information. It does not contain a report narrative; only the assigned complaint number, type of offense and property involved are normally included. Names of those involved, other than the victim, are usually not included. Victims may pick up the copy in person (with proper identification) or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to Moline Police Department, 1640-6th Avenue, Moline, Illinois 61265.

Redacted Report
Individuals may obtain a redacted copy of a police report by filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request for a minimal fee. A FOIA request may be picked up at city hall, the police department, or downloaded from this website. Note: A report will not be available the same day. You must allow at least five business days, not including the weekends or holidays, for processing of such request.

Complete Report
A court ordered subponea is required to obtain copies of complete police reports.  Submit the subpoena, along with a $24 processing fee, to the Records Custodian, Moline Police Department, 1640-6th Avenue, Moline, Illinois 61265.  Your request may be submitted in person or by mail.

Accident Reports

Those involved in a vehicular crash can obtain a copy of their crash report at no charge.
