Moline’s Leaf Collection Continues Through Frigid Temps

The City of Moline wishes to advise residents that leaf vacuuming will continue despite the frigid temperatures that our area is experiencing. City crews are working ten hour days in an effort to collect the leaves. The recent snow has hampered collection efforts, but crews will continue to vacuum leaves as long as they are not plowing snow. Crews use the same municipal trucks for both leaf vacuuming and snow plowing.

As in past years, leaf vacuuming is expected to continue through Friday, December 16, 2005.
