Project:  I-74 Illinois, West (north) bound lanes from Illinois Route 5 (John Deere Road) to 7th Street, Moline

Area 1: During the week of August 17, 2009, McCarthy Improvement will be making a west bound traffic switch from the inside median lane to the outside driving lane of I-74 in the location described above.

The work includes continued bridge repairs and concrete patching.  The inside median lane will be closed to traffic for approximately 6-8 weeks.  The work is in preparation for a new asphalt surface.

Area 2: Also next week, McCarthy Improvement Company will be extending work off of 23rd Avenue in Moline onto 19th Street north and south.
