Meet & Greet for Moline’s New Park Director

The City of
Moline will host a Meet & Greet Open House for its new
Park Director, Laura Duran, on Friday, March 20, from 4
– 5:30 pm, at the Municipal Services Center, 3635 – 4th
Avenue. The public is invited to attend to meet Laura
and share comments or suggestions about Moline Parks.
Refreshments will be served.
Laura Duran joined the City of Moline on March 2, 2009.
Laura previously served as the Facilities & Membership
Supervisor for the Field House Sports & Fitness Center
for the Waukegan, Illinois Park District, which serves
more than 90,000 residents. She holds a bachelor’s
degree in recreation from the University of North
Carolina, and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in
recreation through the University of Illinois.
