The City of Moline and a leading planning and design
firm, Gould Evans, will host two public events for the
River Drive Transportation & Land Use Study.
A public workshop will be held on Monday, January 12,
2009, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm at the Moline Public Library,
3210 – 41st Street. The workshop is an opportunity for
the public to learn about the River Drive Study and
provide comments that will help guide plan development.
An open house will be held on Thursday, January 15th,
from 5:30 – 8:30 pm at the Moline Public Library, 3210 –
41st Street. Members of the public are invited to attend
and view the alternatives for the future of River Drive.
The open house will provide an opportunity to ask
questions and provide feedback.
This study was funded by a grant from the Illinois
Tomorrow Corridor Planning Program administered through
the Illinois Department of Transportation.
The City of Moline would like to invite all interested
people to the workshop and open house to help ensure
that the community’s vision for River Drive is
accurately reflected. Resident participation is the key
to the success of this important planning effort. For
