Route Created for Moline’s Ralph B. Birks Bicycle Trail

Due to the construction
on the Rock Island Arsenal Moline bridge, a temporary
route has been created for the Ralph B. Birks bicycle
trail. Pedestrians and bikers will be detoured along
River Drive beginning at 17th Street by Bass Street
Landing to 15th Street near the Radisson and TGI
Friday’s. Temporary routing signs will be in place to
direct pedestrians and bikers. Use of the temporary
route will begin on Tuesday, August 17, and will continue
until construction is complete, which is anticipated to
be October 17, 2010.
