Large groups and organizations were asked to pre-register with the Moline Municipal Services Division at 309-524-2410 so that City crews will know where to go on Saturday to pick up the litter that is collected.

Residents are also encouraged to participate by picking up loose litter in their neighborhood and alley. No pre-registration was required. The City asks residents to add their litter bags to their regular garbage collection. Residents should note that regular pick-up limits still apply and only garbage that fits inside the cart will be collected. No special pick-ups will apply.

Future recognition by the Moline City Council is planned for participants from the largest civic group, organization or association, largest family, oldest and youngest volunteers and most refuse collected. Groups are asked to make the City aware if they feel someone in their group qualifies for this recognition by calling the Municipal Services Division at 309-524-2410.
