Safe Routes to School (SRTS) is a federal grant program that recently awarded the City of Moline with $200,000 to construct a safe path for pedestrians between Wilson Junior High and the YMCA.
The City plans to construct an 8’ wide sidewalk on the east side of 48th Street between 12th Avenue and 20th Avenue.
This project is being funded with a federal SRTS grant and with Motor Fuel Tax Funds.
