There are 5 sites included in the asphalt maintenance program for 2022. They are:
38th St, South of 26th Ave
9th Ave, East of 37th St
6th Ave, East of 51st St
51st St, 6th-7th Ave
2nd Ave, 38th-41st St
This project will include asphalt removal and replacement. Other work will include pavement patching, curb repairs, sidewalk improvements, driveway repairs, drainage improvements, and other related work.
This project is being funded through Motor Fuel Tax funds.
These locations were chosen because the existing pavement base is in adequate condition, meaning it doesn’t need reconstructed, however the pavement surface needs replaced.
