Community Involvement

Public Education Station 3 Pub Ed

The Moline Fire Department provides fire prevention and education to the general public throughout the year.  This includes presentations and tours for elementary schools (as well as other classes when requested), Girl and Boy Scout troops, churches, and many other organizations.  Fire inspections and education are provided to owners of new or existing buildings to ensure fire safety.

Special Events

Every year, the Moline Fire Department participates in many special events.  We have participated in events such as holiday and school parades, street races, block parties, and safety fairs.

File of Life

The File of Life program promotes emergency preparedness and provides vital information to our paramedics when they need it most. The information contained in your File of Life form can provide our paramedics with your accurate medical history, list of medications, existing conditions and allergies in just a few seconds.  The process is simple; fill out the provided form (in pencil) with all of your pertinent medical information and secure it in the red, magnetized envelope and place it on your refrigerator, making sure to update it as often as necessary.  Our paramedics are trained to check the refrigerator for the easily recognized FILE OF LIFE in the event you are unable to communicate with them.  This is just another way we can better serve the citizens of Moline.  If you have any questions, please call us at 309-524-2250.  To request your own File of Life, submit the online form below.
