Quentin Rodriguez is a lifetime resident of the Quad Cities and has lived in Moline since 2005. He was elected to the Council in April of 2015 and his current term will expire May 1, 2019.
Alderman Rodriguez supports high quality municipal services, creating a small business friendly environment, responsible public safety policies and embracing the entire community through diversity in programs and support.
Alderman Rodriguez has been involved in several youth sports programs and is a past president of the Moline Dad's Club. Alderman Rodriguez is very involved in supporting the military veterans and is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, Disabled American Veterans, and the 101st Airborne Division Association.
Education & Employment
Alderman Rodriguez is a 1997 graduate from Davenport Central High School. He graduated U.S. Army Basic Combat training in Ft. Benning, Georgia and the U.S. Army Technical Engineering School in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO in 2000. He graduated from Black Hawk College in 2008 and in 2009, he graduated the U.S. Army Material Command's Machinists Apprenticeship program through the Joint Manufacturing and Technology center on the Rock Island Arsenal. Currently, Alderman Rodriguez works as a global logistics manager for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command on the Rock Island Arsenal and has served in Afghanistan supporting troops.
Family & Free Time
Alderman Rodriguez and his wife, Angela, have one daughter, Natalie. In his free time he enjoys spending time with Natalie and her sports programs. He also enjoys riding motorcycles with family, friends and fellow veterans.
