A permit is required when any owner, authorized agent, or contractor desires to construct, enlarge, alter, repair, move, demolish, or change the occupancy of a building or structure. You will need a permit to erect, install, enlarge, alter, repair, remove, convert or replace any electrical, gas, mechanical, or plumbing system, the installation of which is regulated by the Moline Code Ordinances and adopted codes. If you need any such work to be done, you must first fill out an application with the building official and obtain the required permit.

Permits Not Required
