COVID-19 CDBG Small Business Relief Loan Program-Website

The City of Moline has $110,000 in Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding provided under the CARES Act. The City is offering forgivable loans to qualified Moline, IL small businesses. The application window for small businesses to apply begins December 14, 2020 and close January 4, 2021, 5:00 p.m. (central time). Applications will be available here, the City’s FORWARD platform, or potential applicants can contact Community Development Program Manager, KJ Whitley at  309-524-2044 or kwhitley@moline.il.us. See the links below for additional information.

Please note: There is a potential that additional CDBG CARES Act assistance may be available in early Spring 2021. Indications are that assistance will be in the form of $10,000 forgivable loan. It is also anticipated that veteran, disabled, minority and woman business owner’s will be given first preference. If this future assistance program comes to a fruition, then any business awarded a forgivable loan in this round of assistance will not be able to receive a forgivable loan under the 2021 Spring program.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, State of Illinois Tier 3 Mitigation, City Hall, 619 16th Street is closed to the public until further notice. Please contact (309) 524-2044 to obtain a paper application or to drop off your completed application.
