Moline, COVID-19 Food Assistance Is Here!

As the Country continues to prepare for, prevent and respond to the COVID-19 Pandemic, the City of Moline is providing assistance to eligible low-to-moderate income individuals/families to assist with household food purchases.  The COVID-19 Meals for the Holidays Program begins Monday, November 22, 2021, Moline City Hall, 619 16th Street, Moline, IL  61265.   Questions:   309-524-2044.

 *A qualified applicant will be eligible to receive two, $50.00 ($100.00 total) Hy-Vee food vouchers to assist with food purchases.  Vouchers may not be used for alcohol, tobacco, pharmacy prescriptions or money orders.  No cash back on food purchases less than $50.00.  Please note:  One voucher set, $100.00, per Moline household.  The vouchers will be given on a first come, first (application review) served basis.  Supplies are limited.  No rainchecks!

Hours (until vouchers are exhausted):

Monday                 8:00 am – 12:00 pm            1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Tuesday                 8:00 am – 12:00 pm            1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Wednesday           8:00 am – 12:00 pm            1:00 pm – 7:00 pm

Thursday                8:00 am – 12:00 pm            1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Friday                     8:00 am – 12:00 pm            1:00 pm – 5:00 pm

Please note:  Offices will be closed Thanksgiving and the Friday after.


In order to determine your eligibility for this program, please bring the following required items with you.  

  1. Government ID - Illinois driver’s license or state ID card with current address.  
  2. A piece of recent mail (last 60 days) (Acceptable examples include:  utility bill, mortgage or rent bill, cell phone or any governmental correspondence).  This address must match your government id.
  3. *Income Source Documentation󠄀SNAP/EBT
    • SNAP/EBT

    • Free/Reduced Lunch card/notification letter

    • Illinois Department of Human Services medical card

    • Illinois Department of Human Services Medicaid card OR

  4. *Household Income Certified 

󠄀 Current annual income benefit letter (pension, SSA, SSI, other) and/or 30 days’ worth of consecutive payroll stubs for all household members 18 or older.
