[ARCHIVED] Armed Robbery

Moline Police responded to the report of an Armed Robbery at Gasland 1305 15th Street Moline around 10:22 PM Wednesday evening the 17th of April 2013.

The clerk reported that a male white armed with a handgun had entered the store and demanded money. Upon receiving an undisclosed amount of US currency the suspect ran from the store. Officers and Detectives responded to the area and a short time later the suspect was taken into custody.

Charged with one count of Armed Robbery, a Class X Felony, is 23 year old
Michael Robert Eaves, date of birth 05-01-1989. A bond was set at $300,000 and as of this press release Eaves was still in custody at the Rock Island County Jail.
Eaves provided a Galesburg address to Police.

Officers recovered a loaded semi-automatic handgun, and the cash believed to have been taken in the robbery, as well as other items of evidence.
