Candidate filing forms are available in the Moline City Clerk’s Office, 619 16th Street, beginning at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, for persons interested in becoming a candidate for the offices Alderman of 2nd, 4th, 6th Wards, Alderman At-Large and Mayor for four year terms to begin May 1, 2017. Completed forms must be filed in the City Clerk’s Office no earlier than November 21, 2016, and no later than November 28, 2016. If necessary, the Primary Election will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2017 and the Consolidated Election will be held Tuesday, April 4, 2017.
