1. How do I sign up for a program?

You can sign up for programs four different ways:

• Call the Parks Office at 309.524.2424
• Visit our online registration website
• Walk in Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at 3635 4th Avenue
• Mail in a registration form with payment to:

  Moline, IL 61265

2. Who do I call for program rainout information?

For program rainout information, call 309.524.2425 and you'll be directed to your specific program.

3. Can I reserve a park shelter or indoor facility for a party or event?

Yes. Shelter reservations are available May 1 through September 30. Reservations are accepted beginning January 1 of the current calendar year. You can rent indoor facilities most of the year depending on the facility. For more information about reservations or special park use, see the Facility Rental page or contact the department at 309.524.2424 or by email.

4. Who do I call to get a tree in my yard / boulevard trimmed?

Trees on public property or rights of way are cared for by the forestry program. Please contact Greg Johnson at 309.524.2410 for more information.

5. Are dogs allowed at Greenvalley Softball Complex

Dogs are not allowed at Milt Hand Softball Complex per City of Moline Code of Ordinances.

SEC. 23-2102.   RULES OF CONDUCT APPLICABLE TO ALL PARKS. 

 (a)   The rules contained in subsections (b) and (c) below have been adopted by the park and recreation board and have been approved by the City Council. Said rules are applicable to conduct of any person within any park, playground, recreational facility, or other premises under the jurisdiction of said board and are considered supplementary to, and not in exclusion of, any other rules, provisions of this Code, or other ordinances of the City applicable to such matters.

      (1)   Exception: The use of trails located within the City and under the jurisdiction of the park and recreation board shall be pursuant to the rules adopted by the park and recreation board and approved by the City Council as set forth in Sec. 23-2103 below.

   (c)   No person in any park, playground, recreational facility or other premises under the jurisdiction of the park and recreation board shall:

      (1)   Permit unleashed or unaccompanied animals on the premises, nor allow animals to enter fenced-in areas, except for special functions, as authorized by the director.
